Verbs in present — group I (-a)

Most verbs ending in -a follow this pattern. Example: a mânca (to eat).

  • eu mănânc — I eat
  • tu mănânci
  • el/ea mănâncă
  • noi mâncăm
  • voi mâncați
  • ei/ele mănâncă

Adjective agreement

Adjectives match the noun in gender and number. „bun” (good): bun (m.), bună (f.), buni (m.pl.), bune (f.pl.).
